The October miniatures are here! Every month I create a few tiny treasures that are only available for one month before they go back into my personal collection. This month’s paintings feature the American Goldfinch. These goldfinch miniature bird paintings are vibrant and cheery, just like the birds themselves.
Goldfinches are one of my favorite birds to spot in the summer. There’s something about their brilliant yellow against the blue summer sky, or seeing them perched on a big purple thistle that always makes me smile.
About the paintings
These three paintings are part of my birds series. Capturing their colors and personalities in my signature watercolor style gives them a dreamy but vibrant look.
All of my miniature paintings are 2.5 x 3.5 inches. They come packaged in a trading card sleeve and protective envelope, shipped by certified mail. At this time, I can only ship within the United States.
Each painting is signed and dated on the back. They look really nice in a matted frame on a bookshelf, or are perfect for adding to a gallery wall.
