A sleepy bee rests on an echinacea flower at sunrise, reminding us that even “busy bees” need to rest and rejuvenate.
Description
Early morning is my favorite time to take a walk with my camera. I’m captivated by insects of all kinds, but I especially love chancing upon sleepy bees resting on flowers. This bee chose a purple coneflower as its bed for the night. I discovered it just as the first morning sunshine touched the petals. The glow of the purples and orange in the flower are magical.
